On\u00a0Friday, 27 June 2025,<\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0automatica<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 into a platform for young technology enthusiasts and forward-thinking talent. Together with the\u00a0Munich Trade Fair Centre\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>and the\u00a0The Gerda Stetter Foundation \u2013 Technology is fun!<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0offers the\u00a0ITQ GmbH<\/strong>\u00a0a varied programme for pupils at (vocational) schools and university students.<\/p>\n

Interactive technology workshops<\/strong>\u00a0invite young people aged 10 and over to explore the world of robotics, programming and automation through play. Whether it\u2019s programming the\u00a0LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot<\/strong>, the little blue one\u00a0KARL the robot<\/strong>, the\u00a0TI Innovator Rover<\/strong>\u00a0or the\u00a0virtual Minecraft city of the future<\/strong>\u00a0in partnership with the\u00a0Fraunhofer IAO<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 here, technology becomes an experience. Topics such as\u00a0sustainable energy<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Open-source demonstrators<\/strong>\u00a0from the EU-funded project\u00a0EDUDEMOS<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>are on the programme.<\/p>\n

For students, the focus is on\u00a0automatica MAKEATHON<\/strong>\u00a0Getting down to business: in just a few hours, several teams from Augsburg University of Applied Sciences develop practical prototypes and creative solutions to real-world challenges \u2013 supported by experienced lecturers and engineers from the ITQ.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Participation in STEM activities<\/strong>\u00a0is free of charge.
