From the\u00a012 to 15 March 2025<\/strong>\u00a0load the\u00a0ITQ GmbH<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Dr Stetter ITQ<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0one of the most exciting\u00a0Innovation festivals<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0of the year. Under the Canarian sun of Gran Canaria, around\u00a0500 technology enthusiasts<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0Ages 6 to 66+<\/strong>\u00a0to the\u00a0SMART GREEN ISLAND MAKEATHON<\/strong>, to expand their knowledge on the topics\u00a0Digitalisation<\/strong>\u00a0and a technical\u00a0shaping a sustainable future<\/strong>\u00a0to explore in greater depth.<\/p>\n

Over the course of four days, around\u00a0250 international students and business representatives<\/strong>\u00a0work in interdisciplinary teams to design sustainable and forward-looking projects and turn them into initial technical prototypes. The participating sponsors provide the students with\u00a0Industry Challenges<\/strong>\u00a0from the following areas\u00a0Smart Green Automation\/Mobility\/Energy\/Logistics\u00a0<\/strong>right up to\u00a0Circular Economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ITQ GmbH is also inviting\u00a0250 pupils<\/strong>\u00a0on the island, up to\u00a010 free technology workshops<\/strong>\u00a0to take part. The programme includes robotics and programming courses, as well as design workshops for irrigation systems and solar-powered boats.<\/p>\n

The theme of the week:\u00a0Make, Create & Have Fun for a Sustainable Future!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event offers an inspiring platform for\u00a0interdisciplinary exchange<\/strong>\u00a0and the development of practical, technical solutions of the highest standard. During the collaborative phase, all participants also have the opportunity to forge valuable contacts and, in an open atmosphere, explore potential\u00a0Skilled workers and employers<\/strong>\u00a0to get to know.<\/p>\n
