From the 12 to 15 March 2025 load the ITQ GmbH and the Dr Stetter ITQ one of the most exciting Innovation festivals of the year. Under the Canarian sun of Gran Canaria, around 500 technology enthusiasts in the Ages 6 to 66+ to the SMART GREEN ISLAND MAKEATHON, to expand their knowledge on the topics Digitalisation and a technical shaping a sustainable future to explore in greater depth.
Over the course of four days, around 250 international students and business representatives work in interdisciplinary teams to design sustainable and forward-looking projects and turn them into initial technical prototypes. The participating sponsors provide the students with Industry Challenges from the following areas Smart Green Automation/Mobility/Energy/Logistics right up to Circular Economy.
ITQ GmbH is also inviting 250 pupils on the island, up to 10 free technology workshops to take part. The programme includes robotics and programming courses, as well as design workshops for irrigation systems and solar-powered boats.
The theme of the week: Make, Create & Have Fun for a Sustainable Future!
The event offers an inspiring platform for interdisciplinary exchange and the development of practical, technical solutions of the highest standard. During the collaborative phase, all participants also have the opportunity to forge valuable contacts and, in an open atmosphere, explore potential Skilled workers and employers to get to know.
