CirQmind – A circular economy through a circular society

The CirQmind logo featuring the slogan „Circular Economy through a Circular Society“ in green and blue lettering on a white background.

RECYCLE. REBUILD. REUSE. RESKILL.

From waste to knowledge – our vision

CirQmind goes beyond a traditional circular economy. The vision is a truly circular society – a community that conserves resources and passes on knowledge. By transforming plastic waste into new materials, 3D-printed prototypes and real-life learning experiences, CirQmind closes the loop on two levels: materials and skills. We don’t just talk about sustainability – we develop it.

Putting our vision into practice

As we work to realise our vision, we are creating a genuine circular economy, so that sustainability is not merely discussed, but also effectively put into practice.

RECYCLE

AI projects for the detection and classification of plastic waste in the natural environment.

REBUILD

Recycled plastics are processed into granules and filaments.

REUSE

Recycled filament is turned into practical educational demonstrators (3D printing).

RESKILL

Society is actively involved and equipped with sustainable skills.

FAQ – CirQmind

What is CirQmind?
CirQmind is an interdisciplinary innovation framework developed by the ITQ Group, focusing on the circular economy. It combines technology, education and practical problem-solving to collect, process and reuse materials in a sustainable manner.

CirQmind combines the circular economy and mindset – it stands for rethinking linear processes and developing circular solutions through technology and interdisciplinary collaboration.

CirQmind uses artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, sensor technology and software engineering to develop scalable solutions for the circular economy.
The EduDemoS project is being developed in collaboration with the Gerda Stetter Foundation. Modular, open-source demonstrators made from recycled filament are being used in schools, universities and makeathons for technical education.
