On Friday, 27 June 2025, the automatica – Leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics – into a platform for young technology enthusiasts and forward-thinking talent. Together with the Munich Trade Fair Centre and the The Gerda Stetter Foundation – Technology is fun! offers the ITQ GmbH a varied programme for pupils at (vocational) schools and university students.
Interactive technology workshops invite young people aged 10 and over to explore the world of robotics, programming and automation through play. Whether it’s programming the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot, the little blue one KARL the robot, the TI Innovator Rover or the virtual Minecraft city of the future in partnership with the Fraunhofer IAO – here, technology becomes an experience. Topics such as sustainable energy and Open-source demonstrators from the EU-funded project EDUDEMOS are on the programme.
For students, the focus is on automatica MAKEATHON Getting down to business: in just a few hours, several teams from Augsburg University of Applied Sciences develop practical prototypes and creative solutions to real-world challenges – supported by experienced lecturers and engineers from the ITQ.
The Participation in STEM activities is free of charge. Interested pupils, as well as lecturers and teachers from educational institutions, can register to take part with ITQ GmbH at marketing@itq.de.
