ITQ GmbH presents 13 and 14 March 2026 at the didacta education fair in Cologne innovative interactive formats for Technical education and career guidance. In the special exhibition area in Hall 6 „Discover your future“ can Pupils from Year 8: Hands-on experience of technology and gain an initial insight into digital and sustainable technologies of the future.
The workshop is on Friday „Learning to code with Minecraft“ In the spotlight. As part of the project CraCoSu Pupils discover the basics of programming through play. In the familiar Minecraft environment, they develop their own ideas and learn how to digital technologies can be used to implement sustainable solutions. The format brings people together Creativity, problem-solving and technical understanding and demonstrates how programming can be taught in an accessible and engaging way.
On Saturday, it’s all about the Topic: Circular Economy. ITQ presents its latest innovation project CirQmind before. CirQmind combines digital learning resources with practical projects centred on Technology, sustainability and the circular economy. The aim is to give young people a holistic understanding of modern technologies, sustainable Innovation and technical professions to convey.
Also on Saturday is the RecycleBar represented at the Startupscheune on the site where Plastics recycling can be experienced first-hand. Visitors learn how collected plastic scraps are turned into new, useful products. This hands-on format brings the principles of the circular economy to life and demonstrates how technology and sustainability can work together.
Through these interactive formats, ITQ GmbH and Startupscheune aim to, technical education and enthusiasm for STEM subjects inspire – through practical workshops, digital learning resources and practical insights into sustainable technologies.
