The Packaging Valley Makeathon 2025 moves on to the next round – and the ITQ GmbH is taking part again this year! As Initiator and long-standing partner ITQ has supported the initiative since its inception, thereby promoting practical networking between students, start-ups and industry. Together with the Packaging Cluster Packaging Valley Germany e.V. and its members, as well as the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Agency We promote innovative and practical training for potential skilled workers and enable a new approach to recruitment.
From the 29 to 30 October 2025 develop around 50 students creative solutions to future-oriented issues at various locations Digitalisation and Sustainability in the field of packaging machinery engineering. Over the course of these 48 hours, interdisciplinary teams develop innovative concepts, build initial prototypes and forge many new links between up-and-coming talent and companies.
This Industry Challenges at the Packaging Valley Makeathon 2025 will take place at the following locations:
- Murrelektronik GmbH, Kirchheim im Teck: The Machine Whisperer – an AI gadget for existing plant
- Syntegon Technology GmbH, Crailsheim: Troubleshooting with robotics in sterile filling
- Rommelag Digital GmbH, Karlsruhe: Anomaly Detection in Time Series
- Bosch Rexroth AG, Ulm: Seize the future! AI talent wanted for ctrlX FLOW 6D
