From 25 to 27 November 2025 SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg will be transformed into a stage for young technology enthusiasts. As part of the Young Talent Days organises the ITQ GmbH together with the Mesago Trade Fair and the New Automation e.V. the SPS Makeathon. Students and vocational school pupils can develop innovative ideas in interdisciplinary teams and turn them into initial prototypes. The workshops will take place in the Makeathon Area in Hall 5, Stand 208.
On each day of the fair, several events will take place simultaneously two-and-a-half-hour workshops with real-world challenges takes place – in the mornings and afternoons, with up to ten participants per workshop. In total, around 180 up-and-coming talents take part, which runs from Mesago Online Portal Register on a „first come, first served“ basis. Group bookings are also possible.
Support is provided for the SPS Makeathon 2025 from five leading companies in the automation sector, which provide real-world tasks and materials. Together with the companies Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH, B&R Industrial Automation, Murrelektronik GmbH, SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG and Turck GmbH & Co. KG participants delve deeply into topics such as Robotics, sensor technology, control engineering and software development one.
In addition, ITQ GmbH will once again be exhibiting at the Joint stand the Bayern Innovativ GmbH, Hall 6, Stand 240, will be represented. Visitors can find out about effective educational approaches using the latest technologies. The focus is on the initiative CirQMind, which the Circular economy, education and digitalisation into a holistic approach. In this way, the circular economy alone is transformed into a self-sustaining circular society. Among other things, the exhibition demonstrates how recycled plastics are used in 3D printing to create new teaching and learning materials. Using the example of EduDemoS, students present prototypes that are used in schools and universities to young people interested in sustainability and future technologies to inspire. Another highlight is the humanoid robots pib the isento GmbH, which impressively demonstrates how creativity and technology can be combined. In doing so, ITQ GmbH is underlining its commitment to nurturing young talent, strengthening practical education and driving the transition towards a to play an active part in shaping a sustainable, digital industry.
